Dustin decided to attempt a human guitar solo trick. I think John Mayer may have some competition. Please kids, don’t try this at home.
Enjoy.

Rudy Vaughn‘s song “I Still Believe In Love” had been in the waiting for maybe 2 years or longer…every once in a while it would poke its head out wanting to be heard. At times, It’s hard as songwriters and artists to be patient with the process…to allow the time and space for the song to find it’s place at just the right time. Well, the right time finally found Rudy’s song…the life and heart in the song was used to help bring to life a video piece that was taken to capture the heart cry of those that are in need around the world and how serving others, locally and nationally, is no small thing. So we’ve posted it below for you. WARNING: This will require tissue.
Katie Morgan’s song “Love Unyielding” is one of those songs that absolutely landed with power and freedom the moment we tried it out on our congregation. It’s really cool to see the process of how it starts from the heart of the artist, the collaboration and refining process, and definitely to hear it acoustically and now being nothing less than full band and full force worship. Here is a video of the first time we heard it at one of our song pitch meetings.
The first 4 mins are the song and the last 2 minutes are bits of the feedback from the group. Enjoy.
EXCITING NEWS!!! “Because Of Your Love“ written by Miriam Ah Kuoi/Nick Kirk and “Emmanuel“ by Rudy Vaughn/Miriam Ah Kuoi were chosen to appear on the 2009 Catalyst Music Project. Catalyst Leadership Conference launched a vision across the nation to worship leaders, churches, and artsits for their heart and voice to be heard through their songs by, what they would call, the “Catalyst Music Project”. So, over 750 songs were submitted to the Catalyst Music Project in hopes to be one of the 10 chosen to go on it…and 2 out of the 10 chosen were from us!! Incredible news!!
The producers of this project will include INO Records and Nathan Nockels. Other artists and worship leaders that will appear on the project will be Steve Fee, Phil Whickham, Laura Story to name a few! Gonna be a fun ride…we’ll be posting pics and video to keep ya in the loop.
So, back in December 2008 12Stone leaders challenged the church to serve our community in a specific way: find people who need help and simply help them. What came from that season were great stories of redemption, healing, and compassion.
These “Intentional Acts of Christmas” stories inspired us to give ourselves away with the gift of music. That inspiration gave birth to “Project Life Song”- a selection of songs and videos written to capture the magic of people selflessly helping other people.
We wanted to see what would happen if we tried to take a musical photograph of the moment. So we set up a time to meet the people who lived the stories. After listening to them for a couple of hours we were able to hear their hearts and step into the joy and pain of these stories. And so out of these stories came songs…very stripped down, raw, with very little production.
The project includes such songs as…
“Hope Has Won” by Dustin Ah Kuoi, “Hold On” by Jessica Taylor and a lot more…
Below is also a video and the story behind one of the song “Story Of Redemption”
